Old-Fashioned Summer Daze
The Old Fashioned is little more than a pour of whiskey, seasoned and sweetened. For all of its simplicity, the drink remains as relevant today as it was when it first hit the bar scene 200 years ago. Sonoma Distilling batches its Old Fashioned Summer Daze and pours it into a portable container for ready-to-drink whiskey cocktails to enjoy while camping or hiking.
Ingredients:
- 1¾ Cup Sonoma Straight Rye Whiskey
- ¾ oz. Simple Syrup
- ¼ oz. Bitters
- ¼ Cup Water
Add all ingredients to your canteen or any flip-top container. Adjust as needed to taste. Rock gently to combine. Chill ahead in the refrigerator and pour in flasks when ready to hit the trail! (Makes 4 cocktails)
